Ok, before they added the farm shed, the farming worked just fine. Have no clue why they added it. Plus the storage is so small in it. I added all the tools needed to farm and my worker will still not do a thing. I even moved the seeds needed from the barn to the farm shed to see if that would help, but no. FYI for anyone else looking for the information: 70 meters is the max distance you can create a field away from the barn before incurring "lower efficiency" penalties, whatever those are. I'm assuming orchards are the same, but I haven't actually tested this yet.
