Sep 15, 2022 · All of a sudden, the ethernet connection on my and my husband's desktops have not gone above 100 mbps. When I called AT&T the first time to troubleshoot, they advised that their wired department pinged my ethernet connection and was also only getting 97 mbps. They upgraded us to Fiber 500 for free but it still did not resolve the ethernet speed. 300 is more than plenty. People thinking they require multi gigabit for a home setup is just marketing at work.
